Every month inside Sax School we do a LIVE video masterclass where I help some of our Sax School students through issues they are having with their playing.

These sessions are amazing because there is so much to learn from watching another “learner” just like you.

In this month’s session:

Our July session was jam packed with information.

Firstly we discussed tactics for overcoming burnout in your practice.

Ever had that feeling?

It happens to all of us at some point, but can be easily avoided with a few simple tricks that I mention in this video session.

Also, I helped Nancie from Ontario, Canada to develop her low note tone on tenor saxophone.

Dave from the USA shared his experience preparing, rehearsing and recording his very first CD album!  This is a truly inspirational story and one you should definitely check out if you have every thought of making your own album.

And finally, Emmanuel from Mexico played Just the Two of Us and we worked through some tactics for better improvising over this tune.
