Brand new video lesson in Sax School this week – learn how to play the classic Christmas tune “Sleigh Ride” on alto saxophone for beginner players!

Don’t forget, you can also download the full saxophone arrangement with the lesson.  Backing track included too, so you can perform it yourself!

Learn how to play my jazzy arrangement based on the classic Ella Fitzgerald jazz recording in this online saxophone lesson. You’ll learn the lead melody, plus get all the alto, tenor and bari parts for the 5-horn arrangement.  It sounds great and and is brilliant fun to play.

For the backing tracks, I’ve included a bunch of different versions too. Either download the full band plus all the backing horns or just the backing band.  You can also get the complete arrangement with lead saxophone.  That one is great when first learning the tune.

So, wether you want to perform this by yourself, or with a bunch of other sax players, you’ve got everything you need!

Enjoy!
